Our Economic Empowerment Division is recruiting an outstanding individual for the following position:

WILKIN COUNTY SELF SUFFICIENCY ADVOCATE – Full-Time

Provide community outreach, education and support services to eligible families and individuals in order to achieve self-sufficiency by promoting and providing opportunities for asset development and family economic success through Community Action programs.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or another Human Service-related field and a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications: Certification or familiarity with Homestretch training, asset training resources, financial literacy curriculum, community & small business resources, and the ability to work independently and to work with families and individuals in crisis situations

PARENT AWARE PROGRAM NAVIGATOR – Full Time, 40 hours per week

Coordinate, identify, reach out to and build relationships with new and existing Early Childhood programs and communities in the 21-county service area to promote participation in the Parent Aware Rating Program. Collaborate with local community partners to respond to regional childcare needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field with demonstrated business and/or marketing experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with experience in the Early Childhood field
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage if using own vehicle, and be able to arrange own transportation to meet with clients and conduct business within the service delivery area

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Child Care Aware and the Parent Aware Rating System
