Our Economic Empowerment/Child Care Aware Division is recruiting an outstanding individual for the following position:
  
PARENT AWARE PROGRAM NAVIGATOR – Full Time, 40 hours per week
Coordinate, identify, reach out to and build relationships with new and existing Early Childhood programs and communities in the 21-county service area to promote participation in the Parent Aware Rating Program. Recruit, retain and support new family child care programs by providing technical assistance, coaching and financial incentives through the West Central Initiative Child Care Supporter Grant. Collaborate with local community partners to respond to regional child care needs.
  
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field with demonstrated business and/or marketing experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with experience in the Early Childhood field
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage if using own vehicle, and be able to arrange own transportation to meet with clients and conduct business within the service delivery area

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Child Care Aware and the Parent Aware Rating System

Head Start is recruiting an outstanding individual for the following position:

HOME VISITOR/FAMILY ADVOCATE – Full-Time – 4O hours per week
Coach parents to plan and implement home learning experiences for children that advance their cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Support families in accessing necessary resources, completing program requirements, setting and achieving goals, and engaging in their child’s education.
  
Minimum Qualifications: AA or Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education (official transcript required), or a degree in a related field, preferred Home-Based CDA
  
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer 1-year experience in Early Childhood setting, past Head Start experience helpful, skill at guiding and facilitating parent groups or willingness to learn, ability to build relationships, problem solve and resolve conflicts, excellent oral, written and computer skills for communicating and tracking work data, ability to determine workload priorities, meet deadlines, and to work independently as well as in a team environment
