Our Economic Empowerment Division is recruiting an outstanding individual for the following position:

WHOLE FAMILY RESOURCE NAVIGATOR – Full Time, 40 hours per week
Utilizing a “Whole Family” approach, link households in need to services provided by CAPLP. This position will provide screening, application assistance and referrals to households in need. Provide support to all Divisions and communicate with program community partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Social Work degree preferred or a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service-related field
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications
• Community Action experience
• Experience working with households who are low-income
• Ability to work independently and to work with families and individuals in crisis situations

Head Start Is recruiting an outstanding individual for the following position:

TEACHER ASSISTANT – Full-Time/seasonal position (Mid-August thru May)
To assist in planning and implementing learning experiences that advances the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children. Aid in encouraging the engagement of the families in Head Start.
  
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent GED, a valid Driver’s License and willing to attain Child Development Associate (CDA) credential within 18 months of initial employment date (all fees are paid for this accreditation)
  
Preferred Qualifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Educational coursework in Early Childhood Education leading to an associate degree, past Head Start experience as a parent or volunteer
