Eligibility Requirements

    You may be eligible if...

  • You and everyone who lived with you receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI), General Assistance (GA), Minnesota Supplemental AID (MSA) OR
     
  • You receive or are authorized to receive Child Care benefits under the Transition Year Child Care program or the Basic Sliding Fee Child Care program, OR
     
  • You participate in the Diversionary Work Program (DWP)
  • If you don’t meet the above eligibility requirements, you may be eligible if:

  • You have received a copy of the Domestic Violence Brochure, and your assets are less than $7,000 and
     
  • You are under age 60 and your income does not exceed the maximum gross income limit guidelines (below) OR
     
  • You are age 60 or older and your income, after allowing for expenses such as rent and medical costs are within the net income (below)
